Pool Acid washing is a cost effective way to bring back the original luster of your swimming pool or spa plaster. If there is calcium build up, discoloration from organic stains or inorganic staining, then a pool acid wash from Everything Swimming Pool Supplies is what you need.
Starting with a drained pool or spa, ACT’s specially trained technicians, fully equipped with all the necessary protective gear, mix a measured amount of muriatic acid, special additives, and water. This mixture is then applied and brushed to evenly distribute over a small section. The area is then thoroughly rinsed ensuring an even, aesthetically pleasing surface. The remaining water is then neutralized and disposed of properly complying with environmental safety standards. Once completed, our trained staff then rinses down the surrounding area, thereby completing the acid washing process.

Organic Stains:
Plant and animal debris that leaves light surface staining, which are usually not permanent.
Inorganic Stains:
Minerals and metals are present in existing and fresh fill water. They are also extracted from equipment and added from external sources. An accumulation of minerals and metals can precipitate causing staining in your swimming pool and spa.
Restart service, restart kit, and filter cleaning:
ACT’s restart service includes balancing your water chemistry and cleaning your pool and spa. A restart kit offers all of the chemicals needed to balance your water chemistry yourself, along with detailed instructions. The restart kit varies according to size and needs of your pool or spa. Filter cleanings are also available for both diatomaceous earth (D.E.) and cartridge filters. During our cleaning, ACT will break down the filter, clean the grids or cartridges, and recharge the filter with D.E. if applicable. Prices do not include the replacement of grids, cartridges, o-rings or any additional parts that may be needed.
